Flashy

After going to a meeting at work about medical benefits, I decided to take a few photos of the crisp morning we were having. I was just out side my house and thought about using my pop-up flash to see what that might look like. After all these years of taking photos I had never thought to use the flash in the middle of the day or even in the morning. To my surprise the photos look pretty interesting. Here are a few that I like....


The one above is taken with no flash.

I love how you get the sun glare but can also see the leaves of this rhododendron.


I really like how this looks like one of those orbs where electric current flows to when you place your finger on the glass around it.

This one reminds me of ad for cranberry juice for some reason.

2009 Chuckanut Foot Race

So my youngest brother ran in the Chuckanut Foot Race this year. He did a great job for it only being his second time running this type of event. He ran 7 miles in under 1 hour! I think that is pretty awesome.
